Scottie Scheffler didn't get his fourth win of the season at the RBC Heritage on Sunday, but only because play was stopped due to darkness following a 92-minute weather delay.
Play will resume Monday at 8am, when the world's hottest golfer will resume play on the 15th hole with a five-shot lead over Wyndham Clark, Patrick Cantlay, J.T. Poston and Sahith Theegala.
One of only two golfers to win The Players Championship and the Masters in the same year, Scheffler's can pocket a $3.6 million payday and push his earnings for the year to a gargantuan $19.7 million.
That's welcome news for Scheffler and his wife Meredith, who are expecting their first child any day now.
For Scheffler, it was another impressive day in a remarkable season.

Fans couldn't believe their eyes on the second hole of his final round, as the American furthered his lead at the top by chipping in from off the green, before celebrating in a very Scheffler-like manner with his caddie.
The pair looked at each other and the two-time major champion shrugged his shoulders as if to say, 'that'll work', after extending his lead to four shots, at 19-under-par.
Scheffler's wife Meredith is very close to giving birth to the couple's first child, and the golf sensation was very clear in his intentions to walk off the course at the Masters last week if she were to go into labor.
The RBC Heritage is the fifth 'signature' event on the PGA Tour this season, with Scheffler also winning $4m at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.

Scheffler's reaction was typically understated after he holed out at two to extend his lead
That same month, he also topped the leaderboard at the Players Championship, taking home the top prize of $4.5m.
Incredibly, he already had $15.1m to his name in prize money earnings in 2024, with that number sky-rocketing to $18.7m if he is able to stay atop the leaderboard in South Carolina on Sunday.
As you may expect, fans were in awe once again of Scheffler's dominance on the golf course, with one writing: 'He's just simply the best.'
Another added: 'Red cardigans. Green jackets. Red jackets. They're all the same. The man is a machine right now.'
His rivals are taking notice too.
'I saw someone say that what Scottie is doing is a once in a 30-year thing,' the PGA's Webb Simpson said, as quoted by NBC Sports. 'Every five years we normally have someone come out who is exceptional, but this is like a 30-year thing and he's done it for two years straight now. It's not just a hot two months.
'This run he's on is the closest we've seen since Tiger, for sure.
'Rory [McIlroy] has had some amazing stretches, Jordan [Spieth] has had some amazing stretches, but this long of a stretch hasn't been done since Tiger.'
Scheffler's wife, Meredith, is in Texas and due to give birth to their first child any day now
Scheffler married Meredith, his high-school sweetheart, in 2020, with the couple expecting their first child any day now.
On Saturday, he revealed that he was 'ready to go at a moment's notice' if Meredith were to go into labor or have any complications with her pregnancy.
He even found away to stay connected to Meredith despite Augusta's no phones policy.
'We have somebody here that has access to their cell phone,' he said on Saturday. 'We have open lines of communication, and she can get hold of me if she needs to.
'And yes, I'll be available to go home whenever I need to.'
Obviously that wasn't necessary on Sunday, which means
